Terms of Service
Last updated 22 September 2026.
1. Who we are
TRAP TAP and this website (https://lumalb.store) are run by [OWNER NAME — set it in Admin → Settings] ("we", "us"). Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL — set it in Admin → Settings]. By creating an account, buying the game, publishing a map or joining the creator program you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You need an account to play. Give a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One person per account. Your display name is shown to other players — don't use a name that impersonates someone or is offensive; we may change or remove it.
3. Buying the game
Buying TRAP TAP gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to play it — in the browser while you are logged in, and in the offline download if we offer one. You don't own the game itself, and you may not resell, share or copy it for others.
Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card details. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
All sales are final. Once a purchase is complete we don't offer refunds, so please watch gameplay or a stream of TRAP TAP before you buy. If the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived, those rights still apply and these terms don't reduce them. If a payment is reversed or charged back, the game is removed from your account.
4. Playing online
Online rooms, Troll Run, Escape the Nightmare, leaderboards and the WRAITH BOT are part of the game while we run the service. Don't cheat, use modified clients, automate play, exploit bugs on purpose, harass other players, or disrupt rooms or streams. We may kick, suspend or close accounts that do, and remove their results.
Online features need our servers. We may change, pause or retire online features, maps or modes, and we don't promise the service will always be available or free of bugs.
5. Maps you make (MAP MAKER)
You keep the rights to the maps you build. When you publish a map you give us a worldwide, free licence to store it, show it (with your display name) to other players, let anyone who owns the game play it, show its results (tries, deaths, clears, first clear), and let streamers play it on stream and on their public challenge page. You can ask us to take a map down.
Don't publish maps that are offensive, hateful, sexual, that harass a person, that copy someone else's work, or whose name or shapes do any of that. Players can report maps; maps reported by several players are hidden automatically and reviewed. We may remove any map and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Publishing runs an automatic check that proves the map can be finished. It checks what's possible, not whether a map is fair or fun. Results (first clears, deaths, times) are reported by the game and may be removed if we think they were faked.
6. Streamer challenges
If you send a map to a streamer, your display name and the map are shown in their queue and on their public challenge page, and may appear on their stream. Streamers can play, skip or give up on any map; being in a queue is not a promise it will be played.
7. Creator program
Approved creators get a creator code and link. When someone buys the game after using your link or code, you earn the commission shown in your dashboard (currently 25% by default) on the amount paid, after a 14-day hold while the payment is checked. Referral cookies last 30 days. Reversed or fraudulent sales don't earn commission. We decide who is approved, may change rates for future sales with notice, and may withhold commission and close creator accounts for fake traffic, self-referrals, spam or misleading promotion. You're responsible for any taxes on what you earn and for following the rules of the platforms you stream on, including disclosing that your link is an affiliate link.
8. Our content
The game, its code, art, levels and name belong to us. Streaming and posting videos of TRAP TAP, including monetised ones, is welcome.
9. Liability
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for the game in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the game at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections 5, 8 and 9 continue after an account ends.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and we'll announce important changes on this site or in the game. These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY — set it in Admin → Settings], without taking away any protection the law of the country you live in gives you as a consumer.
